In 1783 at Versailles, a miracle of invention, a balloon filled with hot air suspending a basket rose to the air. This amazing occasion sparked numerous balloon motifs being used in the decorative arts. Toile de Jouy was no exception and we have adapted a late 18th century Toile de Jouy fabric to fit onto four six inch tiles.
These tiles can be produced in other colours for a minimum order. They already come in green, dusty pink, blue, grey and black.
