Keshte is the local name for a Suzani and applies to the beautiful embroideries of Central Asia. The word means "patterned needlework" or Kashida. This Keshte, thought to be from Bukhara in Uzbekistan, has a floral grid pattern and dates back to the mid 19th century. One main tile is repeated with border and corner tiles to make up a gorgeous colourful panel.
All our tiles can be produced in any colour range.
