Sanganer in the outskirts of Jaipur in India is the centre of blockprinting today. In the 18th and 19th centuries cloth was printed to supply the demands of the nobility and rich as well as the foreign market. Finely woven cottons were printed with patterns mostly consisting of cone-like flowers, bouquets and blooming sprays. We have used a traditional blockprint design to create a subtle floral tile in shimmering frosted silver.
These tiles can be produced in other colours for a minimum order.
