Frequently asked questions

How do I order?

Please use the CONTACT page to email your order.  If it is a straight order, please include address and telephone number.  An invoice will be emailed to you and payment can be made by bank transfer or cheque.  My bank details will be on the invoice.  For orders over £500 a 50% deposit will be required when the order is confirmed.  The balance will be due when the tiles are ready for delivery.  Payment is always required before delivery.

Do you send out sample tiles?

Yes.  We charge at the tile rate plus postage.

Where is your price list?

Each tile is priced individually depending on the design detail of the tile itself.  Please browse our collection, clicking on tile images, to view designs, colours and associated prices per tile. 

How long will my order take? 

It depends on how many tiles are required.  Please allow from 1 - 4 weeks, depending on quantity.  For orders over 500 tiles it might take a little longer than this.

Why are my tiles not all identical?

Please note that due to the handmade nature of our standard tiles there will be size and colour variations.  We suggest when tiling large areas, tiles from different boxes be mixed together to minimise the visual impact of any colour variation that may occur.  Crazing may sometimes occur with clear glazed tiles. This is a natural occurrence especially with handmade tiles and will not affect their serviceability.

I've just received my order but a couple of tiles are damaged.  Can I return them to get replacements?

We always make sure that we pack our tiles with great care.  Please check for any damage or discrepancies to the order and let us know within 24 hours of receipt.

Do you have any recommendations for installation?

For best results we recommend using Mapei’s flexible adhesive “MapeGrip D2”.  Alternatively a good quality adhesive should be used.
