Striking designs from timeless textiles

TexTiles was set up by Ingrid Hunter and Julia Moore in 2003. Combining our skills as ceramicist and designer, we offer a unique collection of floor and wall tiles inspired by our love of traditional and antique textiles and carpets from around the world.

Use our handmade tiles to create an impact in your bathroom, kitchen, cloakroom or conservatory. Designed to give the appearance of wall hangings, the tiles are assembled in panels with each tile being a repeat or complementary pattern. Each panel can be varied in size to fit into any space – from a small design to fit behind an Aga or basin splashback to a large wall hanging for a conservatory.

In addition to TexTiles’ own range, we specialise in carrying out private commissions. We will create a design from a fabric or wallpaper and apply it to our handmade tiles. We will also take on specific handpainted assignments.

Every stage of the production process is carried out by hand, from the creation of the artwork to the cutting of the tiles, glazing and printing or painting. As in all handmade work, slight variations can occur.

We endeavour to complete assignments within six weeks from the date of order. A 50% deposit is required with every order. The balance will be due on delivery.
